Customers with clusters in or communicating with the affected region may have experienced delays or errors with Cluster Linking, Apache Flink processing, and access to logs in the Confluent Cloud UI.
Confluent Cloud is a managed streaming platform built on Apache Kafka, used by organizations to handle real-time data pipelines and event streaming across distributed systems.
Confluent began investigating intermittent connectivity issues and initially reported potential impacts to Cluster Linking and Flink processing. The investigation was expanded to include log access issues. A mitigation was subsequently deployed, and Confluent moved to monitoring status to confirm full restoration before declaring the incident resolved.
