Grafana Cloud experienced a critical outage impacting the read path for Cloud Logs in the eu-west-2 region. The incident affected Explore, dashboards, and alert evaluation services that query logs.

Grafana Cloud provides cloud-native observability and monitoring services used by organizations to visualize and analyze metrics, logs, and traces.

The service disruption occurred on loki-prod-012 and lasted approximately eight minutes, from 22:15 to 22:23 UTC.

Grafana Cloud has confirmed the incident is now resolved.

We observed an issue which impacted the following service: reads of Cloud Logs in the eu-west-2 region. Affected services would include Explore, dashboards, alert evaluation when querying Logs. The time of impact lasted from approximately 22h15 and 22h23 UTC, on loki-prod-012. This incident has since been resolved.
