Supabase resolved a major outage affecting users on Project versions 15.1 and older, who experienced pgBouncer configuration issues causing connection failures for Dedicated Pooler and Storage services. The incident has been fully resolved.
Supabase is an open-source Firebase alternative providing PostgreSQL databases and related backend services to developers and organizations.
The company identified the root cause and began rolling out a fix, first stabilizing service in eu-central-2 and ap-south-1 before expanding to additional regions. An enhanced automated solution was developed and tested in staging before deployment to production. A fix rolled out across all regions showed positive results, and Supabase transitioned the incident to monitoring status as stability held. The service has now been declared fully resolved.
