By The Downtime · Jun 29, 2026 · 4:15 PM ·Updated 7 hours ago
This is a developing story — we’re tracking the official status page and will post updates here as they come in.

Elastic is investigating a major outage affecting several Bekitzur-hosted services, including maps.elastic.co, ml-models.elastic.co, and go.elastic.co, along with related staging endpoints. The incident is impacting Kibana's maps and ML models functionality, as well as elastic-agent and other Go-based products that depend on go.elastic.co.

Elastic provides search, observability, and analytics capabilities used by enterprises and developers worldwide to index and analyze data.

The company's team has identified the root cause: a Terraform configuration change inadvertently removed domains from GCP-managed SSL certificates, triggering reprovisioning. The certificates have been successfully reprovisioned, and the team is now awaiting the load balancer to pick up the updated certificates.

This is a developing situation. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.

investigating Bekitzur hosted services are down Jun 29, 4:14 PM

We are currently investigating an issue affecting several Bekitzur-hosted services, including maps.elastic.co, ml-models.elastic.co, go.elastic.co, and related staging endpoints. This is impacting parts of Kibana (maps, ML models) as well as elastic-agent and other Go-based products that rely on go.elastic.co. Our team has identified the root cause — a Terraform configuration change inadvertently removed domains from the GCP-managed SSL certificates, causing them to be reprovisioned. The certificates have been successfully reprovisioned and we are now waiting for the load balancer to pick up the updated certificates. We will provide further updates as the situation progresses.
