Fly.io experiences partial outage in Chicago region

Machines unreachable on affected hosts; Managed Postgres clusters unavailable.

Fly.io is investigating a partial outage affecting its ORD (Chicago) region. Machines across a subset of hosts may be unreachable or not running correctly, and deploys to affected hosts are failing. Some Managed Postgres clusters in the ORD region are currently unavailable.

Fly.io is a cloud platform that allows developers to deploy applications and databases globally across multiple regions.

The company reported the issue is tied to a problem with one of its upstream providers in the ORD region. The investigation is ongoing as of this report.
