Fly.io is investigating a major outage affecting its Chicago (ORD) region. Machines across a subset of hosts in the region may be unreachable or not running correctly, and deployment attempts to affected hosts may fail. Some Managed Postgres clusters in ORD are also unavailable or experiencing connectivity issues.

Fly.io provides cloud infrastructure and platform-as-a-service hosting for application deployment and scaling.

The company identified the issue as originating with one of its upstream providers and began investigating immediately. No resolution timeline has been announced.

We've identified the issue as a networking hardware failure impacting a subset of hosts at one of our Upstream providers in ORD. We are working with our provider to restore connectivity.
